The Raymond Corporation is the leading North American provider of materials handling solutions that improve space utilization and productivity, with lower cost of operation and greater operator acceptance. High-performance, reliable, ergonomically designed Raymond® lift trucks range from a full line of manual and electric pallet trucks and walkie stackers to counterbalanced trucks, Reach-Fork® trucks, orderpickers and dual-purpose (pallet handling/case picking) Swing-Reach® trucks. Raymond’s history of innovation for warehousing and distribution operations is unmatched, beginning in the 1930s with the invention of the first hydraulic hand pallet truck. Soon after, Raymond patented the first double-faced wooden pallet, making it easier and more efficient to transfer goods — forever changing the material handling world.

Raymond has been a pioneer in the research and development of hydrogen fuel cell-powered electric lift trucks, establishing the first indoor hydrogen fueling station in New York State at its headquarters in Greene, N.Y., in January 2007. Since then, Raymond’s headquarters has served as a “living lab”, jointly funded by NYSERDA and The Raymond Corporation, in which hydrogen fuel cell-powered Raymond lift trucks are used in real applications to aid in Raymond’s research. Raymond continues to investigate energy storage methods that focus on higher efficiency and sustainable practices.
