Sentient Corporation
Profile
Since its founding in 2001, Sentient scientists, recipients of numerous new technology research funds from the DARPA, DOD and DOE, have been focused on the sequencing of material grains to accurately predict both fault initiation and propagation LIFE without physical testing. They discover the "failure grain" in designs and determine the predisposition to specific failure modes. The company is transitioning its Life predictive computational modeling technology to commercial application to reduce the cost and time of physical testing - analysis for battery material and packaging design engineers early in the process. The resulting ground truth models or DigitalClone Models contains a time stamped specific sensor condition indicator both initiation and propagation allowing field maintainers (PHM) to reduce the amount of false alarms while reducing the amount of sensors required in condition based maintenance.
Uniquely, Sentient provides this Material Genome capability while the user is still in a virtual design phase that in turn enhances the “what-if” experience to a new dimension. Recently, and coexistent with a recent NASA validation of its DigitalClone Model technology the company has decided to expand its market to include commercial users, thus Sentient is seeking first Pilot Partners to further evaluate and validate its technology.
