The audience will include approximately 200 people from throughout the energy storage industry, as well as experts from Con Edison, New York City, NYSERDA and the NYS Department of Public Service. The one-day event will consist of panel discussions, featured presentations and a Networking/Ask an Expert session with State and utility staff at the end of the day.

When entering The Learning Center parking lot, please watch for pedestrians as well as bicyclists riding in the two-way bike lane.
Consider taking public transportation or arranging for a car pool. Shuttle bus service is available between The Learning Center and nearby subway stations. Here are the times and pick-up/drop-off locations:
Pickup from Hunters Point/LIRR Flushing Line #7: 6:15 to 6:20 a.m., 7:00 to 7:05 a.m., 7:20 to 7:30 a.m., and 7:45 to 7:50 a.m.
Pickup from Court Sq-23rd street subway line E, M and G: 6:25 to 6:30 a.m. in front of Citi Corp Building; 6:30 to 6:40 a.m. 21st Street and 44th Drive; 6:50 to 6:55 a.m. in front of Citi Corp Building and, 7:30 to 7:35 a.m. 21st Street and 44th Drive
Departure from TLC to Court Sq-23rd street subway line E, M, G and LIRR/Flushing Line #7: 340 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 4:40p.m., and 5:10 p.m.
The Learning Center is a few minutes from LaGuardia Airport in Queens. Hotel accommodations are available near LaGuardia. If you prefer to stay in Manhattan, The Learning Center can be reached by car or subway.
- For trains E and M:
For E or M train, take thetrain to Court Sq-23 St. If you are coming from Brooklyn, Manhattan, or the Bronx, board the last car. If you are coming from Queens, board the first car. When you get off the train, walk up the staircase on the left side of the token booth. You will be facing the Manhattan skyline on 44th Drive.
- For the train G:
For G train, take thetrain to Long Island City- Court Square. Walk north on Jackson Avenue to 44th Drive (toward Citicorp Building) make left onto 44th Drive. You will be facing the Manhattan skyline. Walk towards the skyline, along 44th Drive, about five blocks until you reach Vernon Boulevard. Turn right on Vernon Boulevard and go three blocks. The Learning Center is on the left side of the street, across from Extech Restoration Products.
- Flushing Line #7:
For the Flushing Line #7 train, take the train to Vernon/Jackson Avenue Station. Walk along Vernon Boulevard about 7/10 mile to The Learning Center (as you walk, the New York skyline will be on your left.)
The Learning Center will be on your left across the street from Extech Restoration Products.
- Midtown Tunnel
Take the Midtown Tunnel into Queens. Exit at far right and make an immediate right turn, and a second immediate right turn onto Borden Avenue. Proceed one block and stay to your right onto Vernon Boulevard. Follow Vernon Boulevard for approximately one mile. The Learning Center will be on the left.
- 59th Street/ Ed Koch Queensborough Bridge
Take the lower level of the 59th Street/ Ed Koch Queensborough Bridge. Take the first exit on the right. Make a right turn at exit. Go to 43rd Avenue and make a right turn. Proceed to Vernon Boulevard and make a left turn. The Learning Center is two blocks down on the right.
>From Long Island
- Long Island Expressway
Travel westbound to Van Dam Street (last exit before toll for Midtown Tunnel). Follow exit road to Borden Avenue (exit road will become Borden Avenue). Take Borden Avenue to Vernon Boulevard. Turn right, and follow Vernon Boulevard approximately one mile. The Learning Center will be on the left.
- Grand Central Parkway
Travel westbound to Hoyt Avenue (last exit before RFK Bridge). Follow Hoyt Avenue to 21st Street. Make a left turn. Go to Broadway; make a right turn. Take Broadway to Vernon Boulevard and make a left turn. Follow Vernon Boulevard approximately two miles. The Learning Center is two blocks down on the right.
- The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge
Take the RFK Bridge, keeping to the extreme right. Take the first exit (31st Street). Make an immediate right turn. Go to stop sign and make a right turn onto Astoria Boulevard. Take Astoria Boulevard to 21st Street. Make a left turn onto 21st Street. Follow this road to Broadway. Make a right turn onto Broadway, and follow Broadway to Vernon Boulevard. Make a left turn onto Vernon Boulevard and follow approximately two miles. The Learning Center is two blocks down on the right.
From Staten Island or Brooklyn
- Take the Verrazano Bridge to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. eastbound. Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the McGuinness/Humboldt Street exit (road bears left). Take McGuinness to the Pulaski Bridge (about 1.5 miles). When you cross the bridge you will be in Long Island City. Follow the road to 44th Drive (about six blocks) and turn left. Go two blocks to Vernon Boulevard and turn right. The Learning Center is approximately three blocks down on the left.
